Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Ilya Bolotowsky was sold in the Prints & Multiples | Live OnlineAbstractions auction at Bonhams in February this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of USD 637.50 (€ 601.30) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ilya Bolotowsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rectangle Within a Circle in May this year with an auction result of USD 107,950.00 (€ 101,323.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ilya Bolotowsky wurde im Februar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints & Multiples | Live OnlineAbstractions bei Bonhams versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 637,50 (€ 601,30) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ilya Bolotowsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rectangle Within a Circle im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 107.950,00 (€ 101.323,45).
