Original light blue cloth, black cloth spine, spine printed in silver on a blue ground, original printed slipcase, paper label on spine (blue ground on spine flaking, light soiling). Narahara's signature, dated '2003.2.4', in silver paint pen on the front blank.

Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Shometsu Shita Jikan -- Where Time Has Vanished. Tokyo: Asahi Shimbun-sya, 1975. by Ikko Narahara was sold in the Photobooks auction at Christies in London in May 2009. The price achieved of GBP 875.00 (€ 1,000.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ikko Narahara achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shadow of car driving through desert, Arizona from Where Time Has Vanished in November this year with an auction result of GBP 27,940.00 (€ 32,376.38).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 875,00 (€ 1.000,99) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden.
