Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Grepol by Igor Mitoraj was sold in the 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May this year. It achieved a price of EUR 69,300.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16 %. Admittedly, works by Igor Mitoraj have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work For Hadrian in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 584,000.00 (€ 529,513.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Grepol von Igor Mitoraj wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 69.300,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Igor Mitoraj auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit For Hadrian im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 584.000,00 (€ 529.513,10).
