Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Spanish la Señora Garay by Ignacio Zuloaga. The price achieved of GBP 93,750.00 (€ 109,608.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ignacio Zuloaga have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spanish madame Souty Reclinada En Un Sofa (Madame Souty) in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 713,250.00 (€ 832,646.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spanish la Señora Garay von Ignacio Zuloaga zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 93.750,00 (€ 109.608,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ignacio Zuloaga auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spanish madame Souty Reclinada En Un Sofa (Madame Souty) im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 713.250,00 (€ 832.646,34).
