Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spanishjoven Sentada Con Un Perro (Seated Woman With Dog) by Ignacio Zuloaga was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in December 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 62,500.00 (€ 69,630.54) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ignacio Zuloaga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spanish madame Souty Reclinada En Un Sofa (Madame Souty) in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 713,250.00 (€ 832,646.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Spanishjoven Sentada Con Un Perro (Seated Woman With Dog) von Ignacio Zuloaga wurde im Dezember 2018 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 62.500,00 (€ 69.630,54) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ignacio Zuloaga erzielen.
