Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 40,320.00 (€ 38,152.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ignacio Zuloaga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spanish madame Souty Reclinada En Un Sofa (Madame Souty) in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 713,250.00 (€ 832,646.34).
