Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Beetle Sphere by Ichwan Noor. The price achieved of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 79,462.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 600,000.00 – 750,000.00. Other works by Ichwan Noor have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2018 the work Beetle Sphere was auctioned for HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 112,601.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Beetle Sphere von Ichwan Noor zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 79.462,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 600.000,00 – 750.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Ichwan Noor konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2018 die Arbeit Beetle Sphere für HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 112.601,48) versteigert.
