The work Beetle Sphere by Ichwan Noor was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 112,601.48), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 47%. With this result, Beetle Sphere is even the most expensive work of art by Ichwan Noor that we have observed at auctions so far.
