This artwork by Ichiyusai Kuniyoshi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2007. In the The Bob Moore Collection of Japanese Art and Design auction, the work Unknown sold for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 8,751.62) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ichiyusai Kuniyoshi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Unknown, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 14,900.00 (€ 20,863.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ichiyusai Kuniyoshi erzielte im November 2007 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Bob Moore Collection of Japanese Art and Design wurde die Arbeit Unknown für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 8.751,62) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ichiyusai Kuniyoshi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Unknown beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 14.900,00 (€ 20.863,85) versteigert wurde.
