Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unknown by Ichiyusai Kuniyoshi was sold in the Japanese Art & Design auction at Christies in London in May 2011. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,429.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ichiyusai Kuniyoshi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Unknown in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 14,900.00 (€ 20,863.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Unknown von Ichiyusai Kuniyoshi wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Japanese Art & Design bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.429,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ichiyusai Kuniyoshi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Unknown im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.900,00 (€ 20.863,85).
