This artwork by Ichiyusai Kuniyoshi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2007. In the The Bob Moore Collection of Japanese Art and Design auction, the work Unknown sold for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 14,002.59) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ichiyusai Kuniyoshi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Unknown sold at auction in November 2007 with the realized price of GBP 14,900.00 (€ 20,863.85).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Ichiyusai Kuniyoshi erzielte im November 2007 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Bob Moore Collection of Japanese Art and Design wurde die Arbeit Unknown für GBP 10.000,00 (€ 14.002,59) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ichiyusai Kuniyoshi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Unknown im November 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 14.900,00 (€ 20.863,85).
