Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ian McKeever could be acquired at Christies in London in November 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints & Multiples auction, the work Print C IV, from Eight x Twelve changed hands for GBP 250.00 (€ 350.06) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ian McKeever achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hour Painting No 18 in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,497.54).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ian McKeever konnte im November 2007 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Prints & Multiples wechselte die Arbeit Print C IV, from Eight x Twelve für GBP 250,00 (€ 350,06) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ian McKeever erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hour Painting No 18 im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 29.497,54).
