Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2013 Christies in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Assembly Painting by Ian McKeever. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,081.18), 17% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ian McKeever - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hour Painting No 18, which sold at auction in November 2016 for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,497.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Assembly Painting von Ian McKeever zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.081,18) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Ian McKeever mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hour Painting No 18 beobachtet, die im November 2016 für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 29.497,54) versteigert wurde.
