Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Two Colour by Nyoman Masriadi was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 2,960,000.00 (€ 333,488.33), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Nyoman Masriadi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Man From Bantul (The Final Round), which sold at auction in October 2008 for HKD 7,820,000.00 (€ 795,442.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Two Colour von Nyoman Masriadi kam im April 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 2.960.000,00 (€ 333.488,33) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Für andere Arbeiten von Nyoman Masriadi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Man From Bantul (The Final Round) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für HKD 7.820.000,00 (€ 795.442,36) versteigert wurde.
