Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hero vs Hero (Jago Neon) by Nyoman Masriadi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 3,600,000.00 – 5,000,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 3,880,000.00 (€ 448,456.22) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Nyoman Masriadi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2008 the work The Man From Bantul (The Final Round) was auctioned for HKD 7,820,000.00 (€ 795,442.36).

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 3.600.000,00 – 5.000.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 3.880.000,00 (€ 448.456,22) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
