Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mum's by Hurvin Anderson was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in July last year. The price achieved of GBP 1,260.00 (€ 1,504.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hurvin Anderson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Audition in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 7,369,000.00 (€ 8,730,274.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mum's von Hurvin Anderson kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.260,00 (€ 1.504,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hurvin Anderson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Audition im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.369.000,00 (€ 8.730.274,76).
