Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work House by Hurvin Anderson was sold in the Contemporary Evening Auction auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. It achieved a price of HKD 20,945,000.00 (€ 2,532,402.96), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hurvin Anderson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Audition, which sold at auction in October 2021 for GBP 7,369,000.00 (€ 8,730,274.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit House von Hurvin Anderson wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Evening Auction bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 20.945.000,00 (€ 2.532.402,96) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Für andere Arbeiten von Hurvin Anderson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Audition beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für GBP 7.369.000,00 (€ 8.730.274,76) versteigert wurde.
