In the Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work Saint Michaels, Maryland sold for USD 33,460.00 (€ 27,220.96) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hugh Bolton Jones - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Brook in Autumn, which sold at auction in May 2007 for USD 90,000.00 (€ 66,899.58).
