This artwork by Hugh Bolton Jones achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in May 2007. In the American Paintings auction, the work Brook in Autumn sold for USD 90,000.00 (€ 66,899.58) - well above the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00. This high result makes Brook in Autumn the most expensive artwork by Hugh Bolton Jones that we have observed at auctions so far.
