The work Altar by Huang Yong Ping was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 875,000.00 (€ 82,752.93), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Huang Yong Ping - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le carte du monde, which sold at auction in November 2007 for HKD 3,367,500.00 (€ 294,381.13).

Die Arbeit Altar von Huang Yong Ping wurde im Mai 2014 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 82.752,93) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Huang Yong Ping mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le carte du monde beobachtet, die im November 2007 für HKD 3.367.500,00 (€ 294.381,13) versteigert wurde.
