This artwork by Huang Yong Ping achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2012. In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Untitled (Rue Carpeaux, Paris) sold for HKD 1,940,000.00 (€ 192,359.72) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 800,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Huang Yong Ping; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Le carte du monde sold at auction in November 2007 with the realized price of HKD 3,367,500.00 (€ 294,381.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Huang Yong Ping erzielte im November 2012 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit Untitled (Rue Carpeaux, Paris) für HKD 1.940.000,00 (€ 192.359,72) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 800.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Huang Yong Ping; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Le carte du monde im November 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 3.367.500,00 (€ 294.381,13).
