Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Season of Cotton Flowers, Taipei by Huang Ming-Che was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2010. It changed hands for a price of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 39,521.33) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 320,000.00 – 420,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Huang Ming-Che - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pose, which sold at auction in May 2008 for HKD 1,807,500.00 (€ 148,805.11).

Die Arbeit The Season of Cotton Flowers, Taipei von Huang Ming-Che kam im November 2010 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 39.521,33) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 320.000,00 – 420.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Huang Ming-Che mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pose beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für HKD 1.807.500,00 (€ 148.805,11) versteigert wurde.
