Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Huang Ming-Che achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2009. In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Facing Beijing sold for HKD 860,000.00 (€ 73,989.60) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Huang Ming-Che - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pose, which sold at auction in May 2008 for HKD 1,807,500.00 (€ 148,805.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Huang Ming-Che erzielte im November 2009 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit Facing Beijing für HKD 860.000,00 (€ 73.989,60) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Huang Ming-Che mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pose beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für HKD 1.807.500,00 (€ 148.805,11) versteigert wurde.
