Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2008 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Sale (Day Sale), which included the work Go to War by Huang Ming-Che. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 475,000.00 (€ 44,022.56), 19% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Huang Ming-Che - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pose, which sold at auction in May 2008 for HKD 1,807,500.00 (€ 148,805.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2008 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Sale (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Go to War von Huang Ming-Che zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 475.000,00 (€ 44.022,56) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Huang Ming-Che mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pose beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für HKD 1.807.500,00 (€ 148.805,11) versteigert wurde.
