The work Nameless Mountain by Huang Hongtao was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Ink auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2018. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,108.45), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Huang Hongtao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Volcano, which sold at auction in December last year for HKD 390,600.00 (€ 46,807.74).

Die Arbeit Nameless Mountain von Huang Hongtao wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.108,45) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Huang Hongtao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Volcano beobachtet, die im Dezember letzten Jahres für HKD 390.600,00 (€ 46.807,74) versteigert wurde.
