Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Star, Star by Huang Gang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. It changed hands for a price of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 71,108.33) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 500,000.00 – 800,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Huang Gang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Star (Triptych), which sold at auction in March 2008 for USD 361,000.00 (€ 228,408.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Star, Star von Huang Gang kam im November 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 71.108,33) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 500.000,00 – 800.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Huang Gang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red Star (Triptych) beobachtet, die im März 2008 für USD 361.000,00 (€ 228.408,73) versteigert wurde.
