Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Huang Ding achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2013. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Landscapes sold for HKD 475,000.00 (€ 47,105.02) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Huang Ding have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 3,335,000.00 (€ 316,474.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Huang Ding erzielte im Mai 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Landscapes für HKD 475.000,00 (€ 47.105,02) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Huang Ding auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.335.000,00 (€ 316.474,18).
