Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Dwelling in the Mountains by Huang Ding was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2013. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 52,500.00 (€ 5,206.34). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Ding achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 3,335,000.00 (€ 316,474.18).
