Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Huang Ding achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2008. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Landscape After Ancient Masters sold for HKD 1,147,500.00 (€ 94,568.51) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 400,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Huang Ding - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in October 2013 for HKD 3,335,000.00 (€ 316,474.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Huang Ding erzielte im April 2008 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Landscape After Ancient Masters für HKD 1.147.500,00 (€ 94.568,51) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 400.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Huang Ding mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für HKD 3.335.000,00 (€ 316.474,18) versteigert wurde.
