The work Seven-Character Calligraphy Couplet by Hua Shikui was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,642.69), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hua Shikui achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Regular Script in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 30,257.89).

Die Arbeit Seven-Character Calligraphy Couplet von Hua Shikui kam im Mai 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.642,69) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hua Shikui erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Regular Script im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 30.257,89).
