Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Couplet by Hua Shikui was sold in the Delightful Pleasure-Chinese Painting and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Hong Kong in May 2015. The price achieved of HKD 35,400.00 (€ 4,153.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hua Shikui have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Regular Script in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 30,257.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Couplet von Hua Shikui wurde im Mai 2015 in der Auktion Delightful Pleasure-Chinese Painting and Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.400,00 (€ 4.153,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hua Shikui auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Regular Script im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 30.257,89).
