Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Hu Peiheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Strolling in the Mountain sold for HKD 22,680.00 (€ 2,522.84) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hu Peiheng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hermit Dwelling In The Mountain in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 18,666.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hu Peiheng erzielte im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Strolling in the Mountain für HKD 22.680,00 (€ 2.522,84) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hu Peiheng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hermit Dwelling In The Mountain im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 18.666,08).
