Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Hu Peiheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in March 2019. In the Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia auction, the work Sailing sold for HKD 44,840.00 (€ 5,087.83) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hu Peiheng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hermit Dwelling In The Mountain, which sold at auction in October 2012 for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 18,666.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hu Peiheng erzielte im März 2019 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia wurde die Arbeit Sailing für HKD 44.840,00 (€ 5.087,83) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hu Peiheng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hermit Dwelling In The Mountain beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 18.666,08) versteigert wurde.
