Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2019 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia, which included the work Landscape by Hu Peiheng. The price achieved of HKD 44,840.00 (€ 5,087.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hu Peiheng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hermit Dwelling In The Mountain, which sold at auction in October 2012 for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 18,666.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2019 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Hu Peiheng zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 44.840,00 (€ 5.087,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Hu Peiheng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hermit Dwelling In The Mountain beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 18.666,08) versteigert wurde.
