Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Painting 6953 by Hu Chi-Chung was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 40,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 47,500.00 (€ 5,429.18) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Hu Chi-Chung have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2019 the work Painting 7007 was auctioned for HKD 93,750.00 (€ 10,715.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Painting 6953 von Hu Chi-Chung kam im Oktober 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 47.500,00 (€ 5.429,18) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Hu Chi-Chung konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2019 die Arbeit Painting 7007 für HKD 93.750,00 (€ 10.715,49) versteigert.
