A top price for Hu Chi-Chung - as previously expected
The work Painting 7007 by Hu Chi-Chung was sold in the Modern Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 80,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 93,750.00 (€ 10,715.49) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Painting 7007 is the most expensive artwork by Hu Chi-Chung that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Painting 7007 von Hu Chi-Chung wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 10.715,49) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Painting 7007 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Hu Chi-Chung, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
