Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Painting 6830 by Hu Chi-Chung was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 50,000.00 – 100,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 52,920.00 (€ 5,861.32) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Hu Chi-Chung have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2019 the work Painting 7007 was auctioned for HKD 93,750.00 (€ 10,715.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Painting 6830 von Hu Chi-Chung kam im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 52.920,00 (€ 5.861,32) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Hu Chi-Chung konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2019 die Arbeit Painting 7007 für HKD 93.750,00 (€ 10.715,49) versteigert.
