Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Running Horse by Hu Chi-Chung was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. The price achieved of HKD 15,000.00 (€ 1,689.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hu Chi-Chung have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Painting 7007 in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 93,750.00 (€ 10,715.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Running Horse von Hu Chi-Chung kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 15.000,00 (€ 1.689,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hu Chi-Chung auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Painting 7007 im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 10.715,49).
