Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Hsiung Ping-Ming achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in March 2018. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work The Way Home (Small) sold for HKD 708,000.00 (€ 73,213.64) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 350,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hsiung Ping-Ming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Standing Horse (Executed From 1959 To 1966) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 1,320,000.00 (€ 1,347,978.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hsiung Ping-Ming erzielte im März 2018 bei POLY einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit The Way Home (Small) für HKD 708.000,00 (€ 73.213,64) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 350.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hsiung Ping-Ming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Standing Horse (Executed From 1959 To 1966) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.320.000,00 (€ 1.347.978,26).
