Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2021 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work A Cow Lowering Its Head (Executed In 1999) by Hsiung Ping-Ming. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 680,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 684,400.00 (€ 73,275.74). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hsiung Ping-Ming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Standing Horse (Executed From 1959 To 1966) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 1,320,000.00 (€ 1,347,978.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2021 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Cow Lowering Its Head (Executed In 1999) von Hsiung Ping-Ming zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 680.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 684.400,00 (€ 73.275,74) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hsiung Ping-Ming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Standing Horse (Executed From 1959 To 1966) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.320.000,00 (€ 1.347.978,26).
