Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2018 POLY held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work A Naked Lady With Her Arms Back by Hsiung Ping-Ming. The price achieved of HKD 295,000.00 (€ 32,464.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hsiung Ping-Ming achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Standing Horse (Executed From 1959 To 1966) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 1,320,000.00 (€ 1,347,978.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2018 führte POLY die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Naked Lady With Her Arms Back von Hsiung Ping-Ming zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 295.000,00 (€ 32.464,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hsiung Ping-Ming erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Standing Horse (Executed From 1959 To 1966) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.320.000,00 (€ 1.347.978,26).
