Auction result well in line with expectations
The work If You Want To Fight by Howard Chandler Christy was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2011. The price achieved of GBP 937.50 (€ 1,072.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Howard Chandler Christy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nudes At The Beach in February 2017 with an auction result of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 87,777.83).
