Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vanishing Hope by Hovsep Pushman was sold in the American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in October 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,975.45) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hovsep Pushman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Narcissa in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 541,000.00 (€ 368,327.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Vanishing Hope von Hovsep Pushman wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.975,45) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hovsep Pushman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Narcissa im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 541.000,00 (€ 368.327,89).
