However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Horace Hone - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of Sir William Forbes, 6Th Bt. Of Pitsligo (1739-1806), which sold at auction in March 2017 for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 13,916.33).
