The work Red Peaches and Green Onions by Hoo Mojong was auctioned at POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in October this year. It achieved a price of HKD 336,000.00 (€ 40,632.85), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 68%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hoo Mojong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blue Apple (Painted In 1982) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 576,000.00 (€ 588,208.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 68 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Red Peaches and Green Onions von Hoo Mojong kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 336.000,00 (€ 40.632,85) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 68%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hoo Mojong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blue Apple (Painted In 1982) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 576.000,00 (€ 588.208,70).
