Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Big Bread by Hoo Mojong was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2016. The price achieved of HKD 354,000.00 (€ 39,883.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hoo Mojong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blue Apple (Painted In 1982) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 576,000.00 (€ 588,208.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Big Bread von Hoo Mojong kam im April 2016 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 354.000,00 (€ 39.883,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hoo Mojong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blue Apple (Painted In 1982) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 576.000,00 (€ 588.208,70).
