A top price for Hoo Mojong - as previously expected
The work Blue Apple (Painted In 1982) by Hoo Mojong was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April this year. The price achieved of HKD 576,000.00 (€ 588,208.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 450,000.00 – 650,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Blue Apple (Painted In 1982) is the most expensive artwork by Hoo Mojong that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Blue Apple (Painted In 1982) von Hoo Mojong kam im April diesen Jahres bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 576.000,00 (€ 588.208,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 450.000,00 – 650.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Blue Apple (Painted In 1982) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Hoo Mojong, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
