Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Christies in Paris held the auction Collection Alain Bouret, which included the work Sans titre by Hoo Mojong. The price achieved of EUR 31,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hoo Mojong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blue Apple (Painted In 1982) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 576,000.00 (€ 588,208.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Collection Alain Bouret durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre von Hoo Mojong zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 31.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hoo Mojong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blue Apple (Painted In 1982) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 576.000,00 (€ 588.208,70).
