Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Emulation Of Ancient Landscapes by Hong Wu was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2015. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 224,200.00 (€ 25,910.95). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hong Wu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pocket-Sized Landscapes Handscroll, which sold at auction in May 2017 for HKD 826,000.00 (€ 94,318.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Emulation Of Ancient Landscapes von Hong Wu kam im April 2015 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 224.200,00 (€ 25.910,95) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Hong Wu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pocket-Sized Landscapes Handscroll beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für HKD 826.000,00 (€ 94.318,08) versteigert wurde.
