One leaf inscribed and signed and dated twelfth month, jiachen year (1784)
One leaf inscribed and signed by Zhou Zhao, with two seals and dated Chong Yang, guiwei year (1823) of the Daoguang era
Fourteen collectors' seals (9)

Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Landscapes and Flowers by Hong Wu. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,782.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hong Wu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pocket-Sized Landscapes Handscroll in May 2017 with an auction result of HKD 826,000.00 (€ 94,318.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscapes and Flowers von Hong Wu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.782,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hong Wu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pocket-Sized Landscapes Handscroll im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 826.000,00 (€ 94.318,08).
